
Michael D. Halleck - President. Michael D. Halleck, B.S.E.E., serves as HWI's President, having taken over this role in June, 2001. Prior to this role, Michael served as the Executive Vice President and director of engineering. Mr. Halleck is responsible for everyday engineering activities, which includes management, planning, regulatory compliance and technical oversight. Before joining HWI in June of 1990, Mr. Halleck was an electrical engineer working in the robotics, factory automation and systems integration industry for Monroe Automation, Inc. located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Halleck is a graduate from the University of Tulsa where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.
Mike E. Halleck - Founder. Mike E. Halleck, B.S.E.E., founded HWI in September, 1984 and served as President since the commencement of the company's business activity through June, 2001. Mr. Halleck currently serves in an advisory capacity to the present leadership team, ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with the Quality System and Quality Policy. Before the founding of HWI, Mr. Halleck served as vice president, director and general manager at Staodynamics, Inc. until 1980. Mr. Halleck's previous work experience includes development of commercial and military electronics at Ball Research Corporation. Mr. Halleck received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Valparaiso Technical Institute.
